Privacy policy

Short version: we collect an email address if you ask for the weekly email, whatever you type into the contact form, and the technical data any website receives. We do not sell or share any of it, and we do not set tracking cookies.

Effective Sep 7, 2026

Who we are

Degreeless Jobs is published by Kylen Rushbrook, a sole proprietor, at 201 S. Poplar St., Onarga, IL 60955, United States. This policy covers degreelessjobs.com and the emails we send. Contact us through the contact page.

What we collect

Weekly email
Your email address and the states or occupations you choose to follow. We use them only to send the email you asked for and to confirm your subscription. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address from the active list.
Contact form
Your message, the reason you selected, your email address, and your name if you give it. We use them to read and answer your message.
Technical data
Our hosting provider receives the standard data every web request carries (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) and keeps request logs for a short period to run and secure the site. We also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your device and usage data. We have turned on IP anonymisation, and we never send Google your name, your email address, or anything you type into the contact form.
Listing clicks
When you click through to an employer’s apply page, we count the click for that listing. We do not record who clicked, and the employer’s site has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

We set no advertising cookies and we do not sell what the analytics collect. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones; you can block them with any browser setting or extension and the site works exactly the same. Affiliate partner sites, reached only if you click a labeled paid link, may set their own cookies to attribute the referral; their policies apply there.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the site, measure it, and send email on our behalf (hosting and file storage with Vercel, analytics with Google, email delivery with Resend), who process it under their own terms and only for that purpose, or when the law requires.

Retention

  • Subscriber addresses: until you unsubscribe, then removed from the active list. Suppression records are kept so we do not email you again.
  • Contact messages: no longer than 12 months after the matter is closed.
  • Request logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short, fixed period.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it. To see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you, ask through the contact page from the email address in question; we answer within 30 days. California residents have the same rights, at no charge, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not track visitors across other websites ourselves. Google Analytics is subject to Google’s own handling of these signals, and blocking its cookies in your browser stops it here.

Children

The site is written for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and material changes are announced in the weekly email.
