Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

Essential Function/s:

Set-up and operate various machines and equipment to cut, bend, shape, drill, and/or test raw materials, parts, components and/or assemblies.

 

Education:

High school diploma or GEDBlueprint Reading

Precision Tools and Measuring

Certifications:

·         Forklift, if applicable

Quality Metric:

·         Scrap Dollars

·         Rejected or reworked tubes

Minimum Qualifications

- Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department.

- Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for specific department.

- Take Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better.

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 months)

-  Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance to include  Drill press, swage, hand-bending jigs, tubing benders, tube cutter, T-drill, and CMM.

- Demonstrate ability to make proper adjustments on related machinery and/or equipment with assistance.

-  Demonstrate ability to produce quality parts within acceptable scrap rate.

-  Able to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced with assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements for the department.

-  Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs).
